The R/T Scat Pack Widebody comes standard with performance upgrades including six-piston front and four-piston rear Brembo Performance Brakes as well as an Adaptive Damping Suspension. 

STOPPING POWER

SPORT BRAKE SYSTEM 

The Challenger GT comes standard with a sport brake system, featuring 12.6-inch front vented rotors.  

BREMBO SIX-PISTON BRAKE SYSTEM 

15.4-inch Brembo two-piece rotors with six-piston calipers come standard on Challenger SRT® models and are included with the Widebody Package or Dynamic Package on the R/T Scat Pack. 

PERFORMANCE FEATURES

SRT POWER CHILLER®

The SRT Power Chiller® diverts air conditioning refrigerant from the interior cabin to the chiller unit, which is then directed to the heat exchangers in the superchargers. Standard on the Challenger SRT® Hellcat Redeye Widebody.

LINE LOCK

When it’s time to pre-stage, Line Lock allows you to single out and engage the front brakes while your rear tires spin freely to clean them off and warm them up.

LAUNCH ASSIST

Launch Assist activates sensors that constantly monitor wheel speed. If wheel hop is detected, the engine control module will resolve the issue by reducing torque to help maximize traction.

LAUNCH CONTROL

For maximum acceleration, Launch Control holds the engine at the preferred RPM and waits for the driver to release the brake while using engine torque management to optimize wheel slip.

RACE COOLDOWN

Stay ready to compete at all times with Race Cooldown. This feature keeps the engine’s cooling fan and coolant pump running to lower the air cooler temperature even after the engine shuts down. These temperatures can be tracked right from your SRT® Performance Pages.

SRT® DRIVE MODES

Standard on the R/T Scat Pack and SRT® models, game-changing SRT Drive Modes allow the user to customize vehicle settings for a more personalized driving experience.

TRACK MODE 

Track Mode activates paddle shifters and adjusts transmission, traction, steering and suspension settings to optimize your Challenger for the track. 

SPORT MODE 

For driving enthusiasts in search of performance on the streets, Sport Mode enables the paddle shifters and configures custom-set transmission and steering settings. 

CUSTOM MODE 

Customize the performance settings in your Dodge Challenger from transmission to traction with Custom Mode, offered to perfectly fit your ideal feel to take on the road or track.  

AUTO MODE 

Auto Mode is for standard driving conditions where traction and transmission will be operating, without change, in normal street conditions. The steering and suspensions can be taken into Street, Sport, or Track modes and the paddle shifters can be activated or deactivated by the driver.  

ECO & VALET MODE 

Eco Mode is capable of modifying vehicle settings to increase your fuel economy on a daily drive. Valet Mode protects your vehicle settings from unauthorized modification when your keys aren’t in your hands.

SIX-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION 

For traditional drivers in search of complete control, the TREMEC® six-speed manual transmission comes standard with most V8 engines on the Dodge Challenger. 

TORQUEFLITE® EIGHT-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION 

For the best of both worlds, the TorqueFlite® eight-speed automatic transmission works as an easy-driving auto transmission at base while you can choose to activate the available steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters or use the transmission's manual capability with Autostick.
